During my second year in Creative Media Production I had the opportunity to work for a client, DANZ, to create an advertisement for New Zealand Dance Week. Our client was very happy to let us do whatever we would like to advertise their event, giving us complete creative control over the project. So we got to work planning our final idea to show a range of dance styles being performed by a range of different people, showing that anyone can dance! During this project, myself and six others got to try out many different techniques such as chromatography, rotoscoping, motion capture, live action filming and much more! We met many incredible people through this experience and our advertisement was used by DANZ in 2017 and was featured on their website.
