Hikoi Filming

Filming day!! So the weather wasn't great, very windy with rain on and off but not bad enough to not be able to use any of the equipment which was good. I taught someone how to use a zoom mic with a blimp the day before filming so they're in charge of the bulk of the audio with me there to help them if they need it. Meanwhile I was in charge of both the filming and recording audio through a mic attached to the speaker. It took me a couple of goes to get into the routine, (having the mic ready, checking it's recording, putting it in my pocket, then getting the camera up and going) because they moved very quickly, out of the vans then started talking straight away, but I definitely got better as the day went on. It was a crazy, stressful, great experience and I hope editing won't be too difficult next!
